LeatherTechnic offers an option to the default plastic handles that, more often than not, end up snapping without a notice in advance. Here, we craft our own carrying handles, tapping into our extensive knowledge of the luxury luggage bags' handles, consolidating the strengths of multiple handles that we have custom-made for our customers over the years.
The backbone of our range of handles is a steel reinforcement bar, capable of withstanding an exceptional load without added strain or stress, to eliminate the fears that the handle will snap in the future. But we don't stop there. Instead of letting you grasp the cold and hard steel, we opted to encase the heavy duty parts within genuine quality leather, all carefully hand-stitched together to provide the premium look and feel.
The part about all this, is that we have made it affordable for the masses, and if you are willing to pay the premium, you might even be able to select the colour of your choice.
There are two available makes of our custom handles.
Our most popular make is the Premium Handle, which is priced at $100 each, and a made-to-order exclusive. For this handle, you will be able to choose the colour of the leather used to make the handle, and we will install it for you. The process will take approximately 3 working days, but the general feedback has been that the wait was more than worth it.
Alternatively, you can also choose our Classic Handle, which is a ready-made option that we keep in stock for customers that have tight schedules, and are looking for a quick but permanent fix. The quality of the Classic Handle differs from the Premium Handle in terms of the provided cushioning, but that does not take away from the strength of the steel reinforcement in the interior. You can expect the Classic Handles to be slightly rougher around the edges, since these are mostly crafted in bulk, hence not as much time was spent on each individual handle. Each Classic Handle is priced at $80 each, and is limited to available stock. Available colours include black and grey.
